World Homeopathy Awareness Week
Supposedly it is World Homeopathy Awareness Week.
I would like to use this time to highlight the stupidity of homeopathy and the danger that these quacks can, and have, caused. Attached are links to a Guardian articlehttp://www.guardian.co.uk/
Please, read the articles, do a bit of your own research, read a little Ben Goldacre, form your own opinions. Most importantly, become educated.

Homeopathy really is the one of the stupidest things anyone can believe. It is pure sympathetic magic, there is no rational reason to believe a word of it and, more importantly, no evidence whatever that it has any effect whatever. Not surpising really as there is literally nothing in it.
Hi Chris,
I couldn’t agree more. I remember working with a child (at the David Lewis Centre) with severe epilepsy whose parents refused to allow established anti-convulsant medication to be administered, insisting instead on “harmless” homeopathic treatment. The net result was that her rate of tonic/clonic seizures rose unabated and she suffered further brain damage as a result, all of which was preventable. Personally, I thought that was clearly child abuse and reported it as such, but the local safeguarding team felt otherwise, defending the right of the parent’s to choose. There was little consideration given to the child’s rights though……..
